Bad news. The Master Bedroom is still not finished. I had to make a choice between enjoying the summer sun with the dogs or slaving over nail head while crouched in a yoga friendly position. Let me tell you how easy of a decision that was. There may have also been a few trips to European Street and a latte or two shuffled in the mix, but really, who's keeping track?

Enjoying the summer with my babies (both furry and non-furry) is why my guest bedroom is torn up and unusable (even though I have guets coming in a week) and why my kitchen table is sitting on its side partially dismantled on the kitchen floor (I wanted to see what it would look like stripped, sanded and painted so I took off a leg to try it). My guests will be sleeping on the couch and all meals will be eaten at the coffee table until I get my act together and finish. I'm thinking that'll be about September....
Love you 'sunshine' song quote. Where did you get the stamps? I could only find lower case letter stamps for the 'art' I made for my hubby (then fiance) for Valentine's day.

I would have gone for plan B too.
Liz, I'm pretty sure I got those stamps from Michael's last year. I used them for our wedding seating cards...

Oh you remind me of the shop we were in yesterday ! There were baskets full of vintage hooks, with beautiful cobalt blue glass balls and knobs and milky turquoise glass and china flowers. I wanted to buy them all and replace every knob in my house :)
ah to sit peacefully in the sun. i only wish. i think someone would call FACS on me if i sat in the sun with kinley...what do you think?
Candice, that place sounds lovely! Right up my alley!
Melissa, you're too funny. Give it a few years, right?
I'm making that decision right now for tomorrow. Um paying bills, finish cleaning the house, make some phone calls, etc. or go to the pool by myself? I would take the dogs if it was not my parents neighborhood pool (seriously) and if it was not suppose to be 98-100 degrees for like the 100th day in a row again tomorrow with a humidity of like 200%. Right now I'm leaning towards the pool although I have a feeling it will be like a lukewarm bathtub and not too refreshing. But I need some vitamin D, especially since I have to go back to work in 2 1/2 weeks. :(
Such a tease.
But I don't blame you!
